I don’t know if it’s because I’m getting older, but the build to this year’s Wrestlemania has been a dud for many of the matches on the card.

What was a pretty decent card on paper slowly went downhill after the amazing first match due to some pretty stupid booking during matches. I also can’t believe that no heels won their matches (if you don’t count the kick-off show match). What does that say about WWE building characters, threats, and story lines?

SummerSlam (click HERE if you missed my thoughts on the show) had it’s ups and downs and usually the Raw and Smackdown after the show tends to be a bit of a reset for people on the roster and new story lines get started. For many wrestlers, it’s needed. Let’s see if WWE delivered.
