This PPV has been built pretty well for the most part. I mean, they’ve had over a month to do it and we’re getting two heavy, important matches. Some say they’re Wrestlemania worthy and I agree. Advertisements
Ever since WWE went PG and tamed down their product, “Extreme” just isn’t “extreme” anymore. The same can be said about Hell in a Cell. Without the blading/blood spots, it isn’t the same and just tame.
I’m skipping my usual Raw/Smackdown thoughts feature this week as Raw was complete filler and Smackdown wasn’t too much better. I feel WWE has been treading water to get to this PPV just so they can really get down to the brand extension stories.
Maybe it was the show, or maybe it as the company, but I enjoyed the show a lot more than I thought I would. On the other hand, it was way too long. In my 20s or teens, this is what I would dream about: seeing a long PPV instead of the dreaded 10:45 PM […]
I don’t know if I’m getting surlier as I get older or if I just reflect too much on what WWE SHOULD be doing instead of enjoying WHAT they’re doing but this year’s Wrestlemania is probably the least anticipated in my books in a long time.
Holy crap in a hat! For a Raw that’s supposed to lead into a PPV, this week’s episode was boring and full of filler. I’m gonna do quick jot notes because I can expand upon Raw more during my Fastlane prediction piece.
