The Hilarious House of Frightenstein Clothing/Apparel Coming Soon?!

If you’re familiar with my site, you know I have major love for The Hilarious House of Frightenstein.  Have no idea what I’m talking about? Well, how about you check out my write up and love letter to the show here, or perhaps read my review of the first ever Frightenstein release on vinyl here! If that’s not enough, read my interview with the Groove Vinyl, the guys behind the vinyl release here.

Caught up now? Good!  I’m super pumped to be sharing that clothing/apparel from this cult show is coming soon from RetroKid, a business out of Ontario, Canada.

According to the press release,

Available April 11th at 9:00pm (EST), the first series in the Frightenstein collection will include four exclusive designs including a glow-in-the-dark Frightenstein hoodie, all of which are made in Toronto, Canada.

This is fantastic news for people who have wanted to represent The Count and all his castle crew with what they wear.  I’m pumped to see what is going to be available at on April 11th.  Knowing that co-creator Mitch Markowitz, who also played Super Hippy in the show, is working with the company puts my mind at ease.

Steve Gaskin, one of the co-founders of the company stated in their press release,

The impact that Frightenstein had on us personally, and its massive Canadian legacy, is something to be recognized and cherished.

I totally get that.  We all love nostalgia and we really dig things that make us feel good about our youth.  This cult classics always needs more representation and love.

You can bet when stuff gets released, I’ll be sharing any stuff I buy here and on the ol’ YouTube channel, so stay tuned.  I know I usually don’t hype stuff coming out, but this is too good not to share!
